Phantom 4 Pro H.265 and Final Cut Pro X Importing Issue- Fixed

Q: Hello, was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to work with the H265 files from the Phantom 4 Pro in FCP X? They come up all black with no image. Any help is appreciated.
In DJI forum, I found some guys have issues when importing Phantom 4 Pro H.265 to Final Cut Pro X. It seems that FCP X can't import Phantom 4 Pro H.265 footage. Looks like transcoding Phantom 4 Pro H.265 to ProRes is the current workflow for FCP X.
There are several converters out there. The one that I've used in by Brorsoft Video Converter for Mac. They have a trial you can download to check it out. Workflow is pretty straight forward. This program features high efficiency and seamless conversion. How to convert DJI Phantom 4 Pro H.265 videos for Final Cut Pro X
1. Import H.265 footage
Once run the DJI Phantom 4 Pro H.265 Converter, you can click "Add Video" button to load H.265 .mp4 or .mov source files. Convert supports batch conversion, so you are allowed to add multiple files to convert at a time.
2. Select the output format
Click "format" bar and choose "Final Cut Pro -> Apple ProRes 422 (*.mov)" as Final Cut Pro X compatible codec for editing H.265 footage in FCP X smoothly. ProRes 422(HQ), Pro Res 422(LT), Pro Res 444, Pro Res 422(Proxy) are all the proper choice.
Tip: Tap "settings" to customize the output parameters- adjust the video size, bitrate, frame rate, audio sample rate, audio channel, etc to get a decent video for editing in Final Cut Pro.
3. Start H.265 to ProRes conversion
Click "Convert" button to start encoding Phantom 4 Pro H.265 to Apple ProRes MOV for Final Cut Pro X under macOS Sierra.
Once the conversion is done, you can transfer your DJI Phantom 4 Pro H.265 footage into Final Cut Pro X or FCP 7 for editing smoothly.
